One model, rebuilt lineups
Both teams re-select their best 12F/6D and recompute strength and seven public profile dimensions. Other clubs retain their intrinsic strength but can share schedule and playoff-field effects.
Full Strength is the default: temporary absences are treated as available before and after the trade. Reviewed career exclusions remain in force. Choose Current Lineup to retain confirmed absences, including for traded players. Both views preserve points already earned and use the same ratings and eligibility rules.
Read the comparison
Identical randomness supports before/after comparison. The 500-run comparison is separate from the larger official production forecast. No-op trades return exact zero. Small probabilities can reflect sampling noise.
Skater value only
Salary cap, contracts, retention, picks, goalies, and unrated prospects are excluded. This does not assess trade legality or likelihood.
Hypothetical trades never enter Forecast Registry or Accuracy Tracker.
